Job description

Currently, we are looking for talented people, who share most of our values, to enforce our research and development team.

Special emphasis is given to Java and Web-based Applications development.

The elected candidates will join LOA^®DITS’ research and development team and, will be actively participating in the construction, the deployment, the maintenance and the improvement of scalable dependable IT systems, in various application domains, including e-government, e-healthcare, banking, secure electronic document management, security.

Responsibilities

• The construction, the deployment, the maintenance and the improvement of Scalable Dependable Distributed Computing Systems or Applications.
• System specification: collecting and translating client requirements into detailed rigorous specifications.
• The development of system designs from specifications
• Review and improve of existing systems
• Putting state-of-the art theoretical results into practice
• Leveraging modern security theories
• Research on scalable dependability.
• Actively participate in the full development life-cycle of scalable Dependable IT systems: detailed design, code development, code reviews, testing, deployment and post-deployment activities.

Requirements

• At least Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Engineering
• Willing to learn
• Solid skill in: problem solving, system analysis, algorithms design and programming
• Understand the challenges addressed by modern security mechanisms
• Master security techniques
• Understand the challenges associated with scalability
• Solid understanding of computer networks
• Be creative and have a passion to building real world systems
• Experience in building and in operating distributed computing systems
• Proven experience on Object-Oriented Design
• Strong on Java or C/C++ programming language
• Master database design and applications
• Master Linux and Windows environment
• Strong on the development of Web-based applications
• Hardworking and result driven
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good verbal and written English communication skills, is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and in team
• Willing to travel
